It seems like audiences said Skip It to A Dog's Purpose, as the film whimpered into second place at the box office with $18.3 Million. Split came out on top for the second week with $26.3 million.
The canine film tells the story of one dog's journey through reincarnation as he becomes several other dogs, each with a new purpose. This would be an obvious ticket, but there has been some controversy.
Dennis Quaid and producers addressed the rumors ensuring that these dogs were in no way harmed. It seems like the cast and crew are in the dog house!
